NY Botanical Holiday Train show
Is it indoors or outdoors? Is it worth going in this type of weather??

We haven't gone yet this year but we have gone the last 3 yrs. It wasn't outside it was in the tent thing - the conservatory I think it is called - it is covered and heated. That is the main train show. That you can do in any weather. They have other outdoor events for the kids though as well - so you might want to check on that - making gingerbread houses etc. There is also a thomas the train show that runs on certain days and it is indoors as well.
It is AMAZING! If your child is a train lover there is nothing that beats this! We have gone since my DS was 2 and it is worth every penny (and it is $$$)!

It is inside a greenhouse (warm). The line is in a tented area.
You will be fine in this weather, though you do have to walk a short distance there.
The Thomas show looks like it starts in January.
I agree that it is worth it... And that it's quite expensive!

We went Friday night and it was great! Al indoors except from walk from parking lot.
