I actually put an alarm on my phone for 9pm so that I remember to move our elf.

I never heard of it until I was in Stop & Shop a few years ago. This little girl was misbehaving and all of a sudden I hear the mom saying "if you don't stop it right now I'm. Going to tell Sparkles that you're being a bad girl and she's going to tell Santa!" I was like who the hell is sparkles?!?! Then later on it dawned on me! 
That being said, I can't wait until DS is old enough!

I find it so cool. My sons would love it but we can't really swing that $30 price tag. My DH swears he is going to make his own.

That is funny, I wonder if it was my sister and neice. Their Elf is named Sparkles as well
