Will you be giving your LO turkey today?
DS is 13 months old. I wonder if its a choking hazard. He has 8 teeth, but the two of the four on top haven't completely dropped yet. I suppose i can make tiny pieces for him to let him try.. Ugh, I worry too much :(
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

DS was 13 months last year and enjoyed bits of turkey and other things I knew he wouldnt have a reaction to. The one new thing I let him have was cranberry.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Since my girls have had 2 or 3 teeth, I have given them almost everything that we eat. So yes they will have turkey today, but they also had turkey months ago. they are 12 months adjusted.

DS had his first chicken at 9 months in a chicken soup. Turkey and chicken are so juicy and so it should be fine. Start out with tiny pieces for them to get used to it then a drop bigger when they get the chewing. My now 16 month old eats everything and has been since 10 months old. It's steak or tougher meats you can wait on.

DD is just 7 months today, so probably not. But her ped did give the okay for her to try some real mashed potatoes. I'm very excited for DD to get her first taste of her great grandmother's cooking, especially the dish that I most associate with my grandmother cooking!
