What are your companies doing as far as excusing absences and lateness?
just found out our company - closed monday/tuesday -made employees use vacation time, yet power was on in building.
dh's office was open monday and closed early. they didn't get docked tuesday.

My boss is awesome. he sent out a email this morning that said due to the gas shortage that they can work from home. unfortunately, I can't. I have been at work every day and doing extra hours to cover things.
No one came to work monday-wednesday and weren't even expected to come in yesterday, but people did.
I think they are paying for everyone's time off, and do not have to use personal days.
