Who lives in Babylon
Just wondering how you like the schools there, shopping, etc. We are adding it to one of areas we might consider moving to. Any input would be appreciated since im a nassau county girl...thanks

I love Babylon...I live in West Islip but we looked there. From what I understand it is a great small school system, you have the LIRR right there for easy commuting, and I love all the restuarants and shops..

I live in West Babylon and I love it there! I will always be a Nassau-South Shore girl at heart, but I am quickly adapting to the suffolk lifestyle.

I do.
I love it!
I was a nassau girl. i love the large properties and how peaceful it is. But it's still close to stores, shopping and they have fantastic restaurants.
For the kids - soo many great playgrounds around.
Waterparks for the kids.
Dog parks too.
Venetian Shores
Tanner Park
Beaches
Schools are good.
Babylon Village is supposedly better. West babylon is good too. Parents have told me they like both districts.
I wish there was a roosevelt field like mall closer. my only complaint.

I grew up in Babylon Village and I loved it there. I live in Nassau now but my parents still live there, so we are there a lot and we go to church there most Sundays.
