Biting in daycare
DS has been biten twice in 5 days by the same boy at daycare. I'm really not concerned and I know it's pretty much normal behavior at this age, but I'm curious....if this same child continues to bite my son (it may never happen again, but assuming that it does continue) at what point should the school step in and do something?

Biting in daycare
The first time. My DD is a biter, unfortunately. We work with the school to try different things to try to put an end to it. At this point DD is shadowed all day long. They tried various different things to help the situation.

Biting in daycare
The school should have stepped in the first time. DD was not only bitten but was also a biter. In both instantces, the school stepped in and notified all parents and worked with me to put an end to DD's biting. All the teachers were very diligent about watching her and figuring out what the trigger was and at the end of the day, they would give me an update.

Re: Biting in daycare
Well, they did notify me that DS was biten (wouldnt tell me by who, but DS told me later) but like I said, it's happened twice in 5 days. They have not told me what (if any) steps they are taking to make sure it doesnt continue to happen.
