Godparent question : same godmother as your 1st DC?
DH and I have a VERY small family. We really don't want to do friends as godparents. We both have no sisters and he has no close woman figure he is close to enough to make a godmother. My cousin(my only cousin) is my DC godmother and she's like my sister. Could she be the godmother to DC#2 as well as DC#1? Thoughts?

Yea we just really don't want friends as godparents(nothing wrong with having friendsas godparents just not for us) I hope my cousin wouldn't mind haha

My brother (who I'm extremely close to) is the godfather for all three of our children and will be for our fourth. Each have their own godmother. Our feeling is, he's the closest male to both of us and he loves our kids like his own and if something were to ever happen to us he would be their guardian. Bottom line, there are no rules, so go with your gutt! You had reasons for choosing her for your first, why not go for your second! Hth
