BTDT - tmi warning- contractions and diarrhea
Is there a connection?
Been up since 4. Thought I was contracting...? But have had diarrhea also.
I also think I lost some of my mucous plug...?

It could be nothing - but they do say your body prepares for labor and sometimes that includes diarrhea and vomiting. Good luck if it is the beginning of labor!!

I woke up to go to the bathroom at 2am and 6am and then went into serious labor at 6:30am that morning...could be!

I have definitely read/heard that diarrhea can mean the start of labor. I hope this is it for you!

With my DS, I started vomiting, bleeding and had diarphea. That's how I knew labor was immediate. Good luck to you.

I had that with ds..... It was off and on for a week, drs claimed it was just a virus though(yet ds and dh never got it)..... had the baby 2 weeks after that by induction.
