Stage 2 foods

When can babies have the stage 2 mixed fruits like strawberry, blueberry, etc? DS has had all the other fruits like pears, apples, bananas and peaches, but I'm getting sick of feeding him these same 4 fruits so I picked up some jars of apple/blueberry, apple/banana/strawberry, but not sure when they can have it. DS will be 8 months on Nov 2 (6 months corrected age)

Re: Stage 2 foods

As long as he has no reaction to the single fruits then go for it

Re: Stage 2 foods

If he's had all of the single foods with no reaction then start him on stage 2. We started them at 7 months.

Stage 2 foods

As long as he has had one of the 2 type foods, or 2 of the 3 type foods then you can give him the stage 2 mixes. If he has a reaction you'll know that its most likely the new food in the jar.

Re: Stage 2 foods

Great thanks. I'm going to wait 2 more weeks since I just started with the meats. I doubt he'll be allergic to them, but just want to make sure. Once I finish with the meats next week I'll try one of these. I think he's getting bored with the same fruits and veggies as well!
