What to pack for the baby?
The only things I brought were her coming home outfit, a blanket, and a burp cloth all for going home. DH brought the carseat in before we left. The hospital provided everything she needed while we were there.

What pp said :) Hospital has everything.
I packed a bunch of stuff and what I wound up using was his coming home outfit, and a couple of hats because I did not like the ones the hospital put on him. One of his hats got lost in the mix tho..

What to pack for the baby?
I only had the going home outfit for the baby. DH brought the carseat when we were leaving.
Make sure to take diapers, etc from the cart to take home!

All that we brought for baby and actually used were his coming home outfit and the boppy pillow.

all i brought was the going home outfit and the boppy (for breastfeeding) but my DH brought the gong home outfit the night before we left...don't really need to bring it with you when you first go into labor
and the carseat checkout day...

We brought the coming home outfit, a hat, the Boppy (SO glad we did!), and blankets since it was cold out. I'm surprised no one mentioned blankets. We put them over DD in the car seat since you're not supposed to put a coat or anything too thick on them in the car seat.
