Has Anyone's DD Been Jessie from Toy Story for Halloween Before? If So, I Could Use Some Advice on an Issue I'm Having With The Costume(pic included)
I bought my DD who is just 4 the size 4-6 costume for Halloween of Jessie. I LOVEEE how it looks on her but the problem is with the hat. It seems that the hole for her head to go in is too small. My DD has an average size head for sure, and is on lower end of the size(4) and it's a 4-6 costume. Why would the hat not fit? I don't even think I can bobby pin it being the shape of the hat is so arkward. Any advice?
Here she is trying it on. In the pic the hat looks like it fit but it doesn't, it keeps popping off.

I cant see the picture but this is EXACTLY what happened with my coworker- she bought a plain cowboy hat (I wanna say at Michaels?) and spray painted it red hth

Pic is working now. Hummmm..really?!? DAMNIT! I thought maybe I can find a different Jessie hat somewhere else and just buy it. Or maybe I need the next size costume up, but to buy it just for the hat, KWIM?

Could you punch holes through and thread a piece of string or elastic through so you can tie it on, or smaller holes that you can put bobby pins through?

I would go to party city, get a new hat, paint it red if it already isn't, and run some white cord through punched holes so it looks like Jessie. Or order a red felt cowboy hat on ebay. They are not expensive
