Househunting: Lakeside Drive, Centerport
We've narrowed the search.
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this street/lives on this street and wants to share their insights about the neighborhood, traffic, flooding, the motor nearby, etc.
I know that I'm being crazy specific (narrowed down to the street) but I don't want to overlook anything in our search for the right place for our young family.

Great area, schools are excellent. I know a few families that live on that street. So close to both Huntington and Northport. Good Luck!

I live near there. It's a great neighborhood. Close to 25A which is nice. I don't really think there's any traffic right in the neighborhood to worry about. The street is a bit narrow though and that might concern me with snow.

Should I be worried about the Chalet Inn? I don't know anything about it but Lakeside Drive backs up to it and apparently it is expanding.

They will be remodeling the motel and adding a restaurant.
