Activities to do with a 1 y/o at home?

I am at a loss as to activities to do at home with my almost 1 y/o. We've been sitting at home these past 2 rainy days and I want to do some fun stuff around the house with him. Any ideas?

When we are hom we just play. I never let weather get in my way of getting out of the house with DS. Im off 4 days a week and always try to get out after lunch but before afternoon nap time.

I can entertain my 1 year old DD for an hour hiding objects in front of her and letting her find them. I'll put a teddy bear under a blanket and say, "where's Teddy?" and she'll pull up the blanket and be so excited. We do this all the house with household objects. Other activities:

- open all the gates and let her walk around and around the house, following close behind to make sure she doesn't get in too much trouble

- let her bang on stuff in the kitchen. Sing along and bang with her

- put on a cd and dance together

- show her family photos and have her point to Mommy, Daddy, Baby, her aunt and grandpas

- watch videos on YouTube (Beatles songs, nursery rhymes, anyone with British accents talking or singing, lol)
