I have never been, but my mom loves Wall's. Also the Breakers, but thats not on the water.

There's a ton of places on the west end, like the Breakers, Ship Wreck Tavern, Soulvaki Place, Ralph's Pizza, Mill Creek Tavern.. but I agree with Wall Wharf.

I was about to type the same thing. I love Walls - my bridal shower was held there. A long time ago both of my brother's were waiters there. It is a wonderful restaurant.
A little further out in Locust Valley is the Basil Leaf Cafe or Buckrams.
