Anyone have issue with Chicco keyfit 30 tightening harness

Anyone have issue with Chicco keyfit 30 tightening harness
Everytime I put DD in I make sure the straps are pulled out all the way and then whenever I go to tighten them the right one always tightens more than the left. It's so frustrating and no matter what I do the right is always tighter than the left. Is it just me?

I just noticed this as well! Only recently though and we have been using it since November. I have tried undoing the straps and putting them back - nothing seems to fix it. I worry that I am tightening the one side too tight for DS.

I just noticed this as well! Only recently though and we have been using it since November. I have tried undoing the straps and putting them back - nothing seems to fix it. I worry that I am tightening the one side too tight for DS.
Ok then it's not just me. Do we think this is some kind of defect or are we doing something wrong?  Wondering if I should contact Chicco.

Ok there are 3 of us. We can't be the only ones. I can't imagine what it is except maybe the straps around the waist need to be the same length? It drives me nuts! When I pull on it without her in it then it looks like it goes in evenly.

YES! i tried that too and it looked fine. it really makes me are you going to call? i was thinking about it. did you happen to wash the cover? i feel like this all started after i took it out to wash it and put it all back together. i followed the instructions exactly.
