Is it good or bad? I just received one as a gift... wondering if I should keep it or return it. Thanks.

BTDT Moby Wrap Carrier

I liked it but didn't love it. It's a lot of material so I found it very warm. Took a few times watching youtube videos of how to put it on to get it, but it isn't hard once you watch and practice. I like the baby k'tan, which is a very similar carrier, better. It's just easier to put on and felt sturdier to me, but was less material, yet still has a lot of hold options.

If you're going to baby wear and don't have anything else, the moby is a great option to try since you got one. I'm sure the person who gave it to you liked it for some reason, and many do. I personally just liked the baby k'tan more.

LOVED mine! DS is a clingy baby and I have a toddler so I wore him all day almost every day. I could not have lived with out mine. We also did not buy a double stroller because he prefers to be worn so it saved us a ton of money! There is a learning curve to putting it on, but once you get comfortable with it it goes quick!

I really wanted to like mine but I just couldn't get comfortable with it Chat Icon . When DD was very little I would constantly be checking and rechecking to make sure her chin was not touching her chest (they say this can make them stop breathing, um scary!). We never used it much and even when she got older she would only tolerate it for 5 minutes or so.

I'm hoping to get a Beco carrier this time around, which is really not the same thing but they look pretty nice.

Didn't have one but know plenty of people that love it. Since I'm short, I thought all the extra material might be a problem. I got a Baby Ktan instead and think it's the best $50 I spent!

dd LOVED being snuggled in it when she was very young but as she got older she'd start to get fussy because she would overheat. I used it for about 2 months, I'd say? BUT I plan on bringing it back out for walks in the fall when it's a little cooler.

Love it, I don't use it everyday but it comes in handy. My DD is sick for the first time and wants to be held she's been ini it for the past week. It also came in handy when flying with her last month! There's a learning curve but it's solo easy once you get the hang of it.
