12 days before missed period seems too soon but if she BD 2 weeks ago it's highly possible. Looks positive to me. I would take another one. Digital or first response. I remember the blue dye ones having false positives.

periods/cycles can be off. Looks positive. take a few more, and try different brands. If they all look like that when following instructions, I think she has her answer.

I would just be leery of blue dye tests.
They are known for evap lines that can look very much like a positive.

If that line came up right away it probably is a bfp- but if it came up after the recommended testing time- it could be an evap

I'd have her get a pink dye test- like first response- or a digital


ETA- I am also confused on the timing.
If she is 12 days away from her period- wouldn't that mean she only ovulated like 2 days ago (14 days before her period?)
And if she bded 2 weeks ago- well that was almost right after her period ended no?
Unless she has super irregular cycles like I used to have, it just doesn't add up.

This is what my positive looked like two days before my missed period. I also took four more after that.

She has very irregular cycles. Like she will have her period for awhile, spotting, etc. She never knows when the period has fully ended.

she said it was about 2 weeks ago, but wasn't sure.

Blue dye tests are the WORST!!! I had a test look like that within the time frame and I wasn't pregnant. Tell her to get an FRER and to use her FMU.
