I feel like I see Groupon/Living Social deals for this every once in awhile. It's definitely possible, just not sure where.

Cameta Camera in Amityville on 110. We have had it done quite a few times.

Re: Is there someplace where I can get a VHS tape converted to DVD?

You could buy a VHS to DVD convertor. My parents got one a few years ago and I spent and entire summer converting all of our old home movies to DVD. It was really easy. All you had to do was play your VHS and hit record onto the DVD! It might be something to look into if you have more than one video to transfer. If not, it might not be economically beneficial!

I sent my wedding vhs to imemories.com two years ago. The only complaint was that it took them a few months to send it back to me.

CVS does it. They are $25 each if you bring it there to have it converted. If you use their online service (you have to mail the tapes to them) they usually have coupons for it & it's about $5 less.

I did this can't remember the name of the place we used but we had to ship the VHS to them ... The shipping included in the groupon .... It was great ... Our Disney vacations now have Disney music on them lol
