Britax at target?
While shopping at target yesterday, I saw there were clearing out Britax Marathon classic carseats for $98.00 and Roundabouts for $77.00. Why are these so cheap at Target. Whats the difference between these and the ones sold at buy buy baby? Should I have picked one up?

I don't think hteres any difference. I think that Target is probably doing their Clearance an d getting ready for different styles in the fall.
Yes if I needed one I would have picked one up.

I think they might be even cheaper on Diapers.com, and you can use ebates to get 4% cash back on top of that.

They are just clearing out. If you buy one though, just watch the expiration date. If they are from last season they could possibly already have lost a year of "life"

we bought 2 there last year when they had their big sale around now. they are great and the date on them was like 6 weeks from when we bought them or something like that so they hadn't been sitting on a shelf for very long

The marathon classic is slightly different from the regular marathon. If you go on the Britax website there's a comparison chart. There's more padding on the sides or something in the regular.
That said, I bought the classic from target.

That said, I bought the classic from target.
It also has a lower rear facing weight limit and I think it only accommodates up to 65 pounds forward facing. Check the expiration as well - I didn't realize they were still making new Marathon classics so it may expire sooner rather than later.
