Spinoff - Hiding Veggies in foods kids like?
HOW do you do this w/o the kids finding it? or TASTING it?
Fruit is not a problem for me, my boys will eat any and all fresh fruit -
it's the veggies !! A lot of people say to puree and add them to ANYTHING .......but my son is going to know if I'm suddenly giving him green pancakes !! KIWM?
TIA !!

Some kids may be intrigued with green pancakes. My kid would have a major problem with it. I usually make muffins and add a veggie. We just made zucchini muffins. I can't be bothered to puree so I just put in the hand chopper and make sure it's really fine. I put anything in meatballs and grilled hamburgers. Those are foods he loves and he never notices anything is off. He also loves grilled veggies and veggies with hummus.

We bought the book the sneaky chef and it's been pretty good. She tells you what to purée and put it in. The Mac and cheese was really good. We just got it so haven't done much yet

You find like colors.
In mac and cheese you can do carrots, sweet potato, or butternut squash.
In pasta sauce you can do just about anything. Muffins are good too.
Also, when in doubt add chocolate chips. A green pancake looks a lot more appealing with chocolate.

I was given Jerry Seinfeld's wife's book - Deceptivly Delicious or something. I found you didn't really add a lot of vege to make it worth it. DS ate enough veges though it didn't matter.
