Baby Shower Question
I bought my friend a stroller for her baby shower. I also bought a Mickey Mouse (of course) plush. I thought it would be cute to put the stroller together (it's a small foldable stroller), and bring it there with a bow on it and the mickey sitting in it.
Do you think that's going to be a problem for her? I can bring the box for her to put it back in when she leaves. My issue is what if she wants to return it?
Cute idea, or too much hassle for mom?

Baby Shower Question
If it was on her registry than she probably wouldnt need to return it unless she got duplicates in which case I'd keep the one that was already put together for me lol. Either way though I would just provide her with the box and wrappings in case she does need to return it.

Re: Baby Shower Question
are we talking the infant stroller or the bigger stroller? i had the snap and go and then the city mini for when DS was bigger. i think its a cute idea to put it together but if its the bigger stroller than it might be annoying for her to store at home since she wouldnt be using it right away. i took my bigger stroller (the city mini) and put it in my attic in its box until i needed it which wasnt for about 8 months. whatever you decide to do, def provide her with the box and wrappings at some point as well

Re: Baby Shower Question
It's a small fold up stroller, not a big honking convertible stroller.

Yes, I think it'd be so cute to have it put together w Mickey sitting in it! Easy enough to fold up & bring home from the party.

Baby Shower Question
If you didn't want to take it out of the box. Toys r us sells cute doll umbrella strollers for cheap (maybe 6-8 dollars) you could buy one of those and put Mickey mouse in it and then her DC can play with it when they get older.

This is a cute idea, but the DC is a boy. *I* wouldn't mind my son playing with that, but I know some people are kind of touchy. Maybe I'm over-thinking?
Thanks for the advice.i think I will go with it if I can make it work. I think it would make it look cute. I just didn't want to be inconsiderate.
I know some of my wedding registry stuff ended up being returned when I realized I really didn't need/didn't have space for some items, but I would think that a stroller is a necessity. I told her mom I was buying it and she thought it was great.

Re: Baby Shower Question
I think this is a great idea. I never thought of this myself but went to a shower recently where someone did this and it was such a hit.
Not to mention the adorable pics we got of the mom to be pushing the stroller (her mom started crying-it was so sweet).
I say do it!
