Is anyone else just a big Cry Baby Parent?

I think i need to form a support group...there has to be some other cry baby, highly emotional parents out there right?

DD is going into first grade. I dropped her off at camp this morning. This is her first day. Its a half day camp...3 1/2 hours. Its a 4 minute drive from my house. I will be picking her up at 12.30. She seemed unsure of herself as its at her school but obviously her teacher is not there, her friends are not there etc and because she was unsure I started to tear up...thankfully I had sunglasses on my head so I popped them on...gave her a big hug and ran for the door while the tears were streaming down my face

I am kind of annoyed at myself as I feel so out of control with my emotions when it comes to my kids..if they show any sign of discomfort or sadness I am an emotional wreck....I am sitting here trying to work with both phones by my side in case they call me from the camp and I will bolt out the door.

I expect my DD will be fine and having fun as she is normally extremely outgoing and confident..just this morning she seemed a little unsure and I got all emotional about it.

So if there is anyone else who has lost control of their emotions since they became a parent please stand up and join my support group so I will feel like I am not going mad.

my DD is only 1 but i am definitely a part of this crew. i cant even think about going back to work in september without crying and feeling like i am suffocating.

My DD didn't want me to go work today, so I left with her crying and yelling "Mommy, don't go!"....I was taking deap breaths in the car to fight back the tears. I am with you all the way!

Ever since having my DD I cannot hold back the tears. I used to be able to fight that feeling but not anymore. Sometimes its really frustrating because I don't want to cry but I can't help it.

Count me in! I am with my DC every waking moment of my life. When I am away from them, I feel like I missed them and they don't even know me anymore! Even if I am away for an hour food shopping.

Definitely- my sister and I already ordered our straight jackets for when my little guy starts kindergarten- in three years. Lol
