Re: Powder formula?

If your baby doesn't have any issues, you can give it right away.

I was scared with DD and waited 3 months before using it, but that was just my own nuerosis.

I started boiling water, but then used a brita pitcher that I kept out on the counter at room temperature.

Thank you
DD gets one bottle of formula a day - DH gives it to her as one of her night feedings. And we were giving enfamil RTF formula but we are coming to the end of our supply and I have a ton of powder formaul. Just wanted to make sure it was ok to give. DD is 5 weeks but we probably wont have to give it to her for another 2 weeks.
Thanks!

Re: Powder formula?

DS had it from birth and we used plain tap water.

your ped should tell you what water they prefer you to use (some say you should boil the water, some say filtered, some say tap etc)

Re: Powder formula?

We've been giving to DD since a week or so after she got home from the hospital. We had a bunch of nursettes to use first. We used cooled boiled water, as per the pediatrician.
