If you see DR. Klein please come in - or anyone who has a "forgetful" dr
Do you feel like he is a bit "forgetful" ? I have been his patient from day one -4w.5d- I am almost 30 w and I feel like he still has no idea who I am or anything. I know it sounds silly and I can't expect him to remember all the details about all his patients, but I really feel like he doesn't know me AT ALL and I have been seeing him by weekly since the very beginning (I am high risk for many reasons, including history of preterm labor, CS complications, MC and cardiac issues) Here are few examples: It was determined from the very beginning that I am having another CS and he IS the one who will do it , but almost every time I speak to him he asks "so are you having another CS? " or "are we scheduling you for another CS?" Also at 25 weeks he told me he wants to see me every week, but every time I go since then he says to me "ok , see you in 2 weeks" so I keep reminding him that HE told me he wants me to go in every week Also I had my glucose test at 26+ weeks, he still asks me every week if I had the glucose test (well last week I told him that I had it done and this is the 3rd time he has asked me since) DH and I also spoke to him about getting stitches vs staples, he agreed, but now he seems a bit surprised when I bring it up, saying "ok, you can have stitches if that's what you want" Also in the beginning he kept telling me "always try and schedule appts with me, I am going to be taking care of you and I will be doing your CS" but lately not the case... I don't know, I just feel so weird dealing with a dr who doesn't remember anything, I have dealt with lots of drs but never one like this. It's making me a bit uneasy and worried that he has no idea who I am and it will interfere with my CS and everything else. I know he is the best, blah, blah, blah, but I feel like he needs to pay more attention to certain things. Just wondering if anyone else is dealing with this kinda stuff with this dr or any other dr. Thanks

Re: If you see DR. Klein please come in - or anyone who has a "forgetful" dr
I saw Klein recently even though he isn't my primary OB, i had to see him for one of my later visits (when i was 37 weeks) and i dont even think he looked at the computer screen with my info, he just assumed i was 36 weeks because i was getting the strep B swab that day and didn't check to see if i was dilated-which they start checking at 37 weeks. He even said, "oh you're the 4th person today i've seen that is 36 weeks" if he looked at the computer he would've seen i was 37wks2days..he was in and out, didn't ask if i was having contractions, how i was feeling, nothing at all...kinda dissapointed in the doctors in the practice except Dr. Alkasab who i highly recommend and Dr. Nimiroff<--even though the wait time for him is an hour long!
