when did your baby start using a walker?
He has a stationary bouncer now. Do we wait until he's standing or ready to walk or before then to help him learn? Can they be used on carpet? If you use one please recommend yours. Thanks!

The boys started in their walkers around 7mo and were walking by 10 - 10.5mo.
Lots of people don't like walkers but we loved them and the kids did too.

We started putting them in at 7.5 months and now at almost 9 months they are getting the concept of it.

We didn't use one because we have a small house. I just had a couple of push toys.

around 5/6 months, he now has mastered walking backwards!

Ditto and DD walked at 9 months
My ped actually said she did not recommend them due to issues it could cause with their hips ?? I am not sure the exact reasoning behind that, but since we didn't plan to get one anyway, I never got into it too deeply with her.

Dd at about 5 months. Walked at a year. Bs at about 9 months and he walked at 16 months 3 days
