I will be delivering at Huntington Hospital. Can DH just show up at the hospital with DS so he can meet the little one? Do we need permission from the hospital/ inform the nurse?

Also, if you've purchased big brother gifts for DS did you have DH bring it to the hospital at the same time? How did you present the gifts to DS? Do you only give him a gift when guests show up with a gift for the baby?
