Re: Clomid... pros and cons please...
Clomid is different for everyone. I can only answer for me personally.
The good... I have a short LP so it made it longer.
The bad... It tends to thin your uterine lining The 2nd (and last) month I was on it, I had terrible migraines. I only produced 1 follice on it. I didn't get pregnant on it.
But it works for many people. You will only know if you try it.
Will you be monitored while taking it? That's the most important part.

Good: when I ovulate on my own, I produce 1 follicle. With Clomid, I produced 3. It was easy to take and didn't have any major side effects for me.

It was inexpensive, no side effects, helped me produce more follicles.

Got all three of my kids using clomid + IUI. (twins and then a singleton)
I did get some nasty hot flashes and those eye swimmer things though.
But the benefits definitely outweighed the negatives for me!

Re: Clomid... pros and cons please...
I used it once when TTC DC1. It didn't work ad gave me intense mood swings and headaches/dizziness. I never used it again.

Clomid + IUI = for me!
I had no side effects at all.. I did develop a cyst and at 3 months pregnant, they are still monitoring it.. It doesnt cause me any pain, Doc says its just something keep an eye on.
Good Luck!

Ditto to the hot flashing. Certainly not unbearable but I didn't like it. I got two follies each time which was good, but it did keep my lining on the thin side. 3 IUI's on clomid didn't work for me unfortunately but everyone is different.

Re: Clomid... pros and cons please...
I responded VERY well to Clomid and got pregnant on my first cycle with it
My side effects were dizziness, bad headaches, hot flashes, and painful ovulation. However, it's only for 5 days and as soon as I stopped taking it the symptoms went away.
I would at least try taking it once, maybe you will respond really well to it. Plus it only cost me like $15, I think my insurance picked some up.
Good luck
