Is this a common name these days?
Hi,
I know this question has been asked a lot recently, but I figured I'd join in and post my own since I'm not 100% decided on this! (I did a poll on this a while ago, and it helped us get closer to a name, so thanks!!!)
So the name Eliza... do you know any kids with this name? How old are they?

My 2 1/2 year old niece is named Eliza, but we call her "Liza." I don't know any other kids with that name, and I work in a preschool!

My husband's cousin's name is Eliza and she's 16. LOVE the name - very sophisticated and feminine.

I used this site a lot when trying to find a name. http://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/
You can search by state as well to find out how many babies were named a particular name.
