Anyone been sick lately? Is someting going around?
I was fine yesterday when I went to bed.
I woke up at like 4 am with a horrible sore throat, sweating, achey.
Felt slightly better after showering and taking some Advil later on, but the second the Advil wears off I feel like a truck hit my body.
Very flu like aches.
And chills.
Just in time for the weekend.
Is anything going around or is it just lucky me???

i'm just getting over a cold that lasted 2 weeks. started as sore throat, 2 days later had a runny nose & 2 days after that horrible cough. about a week into it i had fever, chills, etc.
i didn't find any otc medicine that really helped, i found the only thing that made me better was plain old rest.
hope you feel better soon!

I had something like that a couple of weeks back...aches, feverish, woke up a few days in a row with such a sore throat that it felt like fire.
I didn't go to the doctor...I usually don't go unless things are really bad. Rest, fluids, soup and a bunch of terrible Lifetime movies helped.

Yeah I am not one for the Dr either- I have to be on my death bed to go to the Dr! 
Last night I felt awful- chills so bad I was shaking, fever, aches- I just was OUT of it.
Better this morning but still achey and sore throat and congested
Seems like the beginning of a whopper of a head cold.
Boooo!
Summer colds are the WORST!

My DD is 6, but has been sick for 3 days now with slight fever, throwing up and diarrhea. Fun times at our house!

Hope you feel better. My SO was sick yesterday. I was feelings okay till this morning woke up with a running nose and cant stop sneezing and my throat hurts

I had this EXACT same thing Mon-Wed last week. It's got to be a virus going around. Mine went away on its own. My throat was killing though, i was starting to wonder if i had strep. Feel better!
