Does anyone have the Fisher Price Snug Bunny Swing?
A friend of mine just gave me hers..and it seems very fast! Even on the slowest setting...I'm a new mom..and have nothing to compare it to..Do you think it's ok?
Thanks.

It seemed fast to us to when they were little.
If you put a light blanket on it that's long enough to touch the floor, the friction slows it down.
ETA: As they get bigger and heavier, it will also slow it down. My boys are close to the weight limit and I still only use it on the slowest setting.

It did seem fast to me in the beginning. As the pp post said use a light blanket. It does slow down as they get heavier.
I love this swing. It was s lifesaver....ds would only sleep in the swing for the 1st 3 months.

Hubby said it was way too fast for our newborn. But my sister, mom of two, came over the same day and told us that was standard for a swing and it wasnt too fast.

When DD was a newborn that thing was a carnival ride, then it got slower, and slower, until it hardly moved and we retired it.
But we did keep her in it, she liked it a lot

The first time I put DD in it I took her right back out bc I thought it was way too fast! A week later and sometimes I don't think the slowest setting is fast enough.

I swear, I keep meaning to post this question! It seems super fast to us too. We thought maybe it was defective. I'm going to try the blanket the next time I put DD in it.

the happiest baby on the block recommends putting a swing on the highest setting, so don't be afraid of it being too fast.

I thought it was definitely too fast in the beginning when he was 2 weeks and about 8 lbs. I was scared to put him in it. But by 5 weeks, he was almost 11 lbs and it didnt seem as fast, and i wasnt as scared. Thank goodness, i got over the fear. He loves his swing.
