Cyst

I was diagnosed with a 3.3cm functional cyst on my right ovary. I've had cysts for as long as I can remember and they've never posed a problem before. However, this time I stopped getting my period about 3 months ago. I had my DS last year and had no issues with getting AF until now. I saw my OB who disnt seem to have much concern and felt that it would probably rupture or dissolve on its own before I go back to see him in June (8 wk follow up sono). The reason I'm posting is because DH and I wanted to start trying for out 2nd. My OB felt it shouldnt be an issue but I find that hard to believe when I'm not menstruating. I did start an ovulation kit and got a very very very faint line today.....

My question is....has anyone had any experience with getting pregnant while having a cyst? Id heard it could lead to a miscarriage which I would like to avoid for obvious reasons.... Any feedback is appreciated.

I got pregnant when I had a cyst on my right ovary. It did cause a lot of pain and cramping for the first month and a half of pregnancy. My RE said they typically clear up during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Mine didnt officially go away until the 4th month. Then it hurt again when it began to drain. I believe it was 4cm at one point....and then it was 2 cm at another check up (right before I felt it draining). Other than discomfort, the cyst didnt cause any problems for me...and now I have a healthy 2 week old .
