6.5 month old sleep issues...please help

DS does not sleep anymore

In bed at 7:30 pm

up at 10:30..I gave him a bottle bc he ate early and barely took any formula

up at 1:15...I give him like one ounce which he doesn't even want, lay with him on the couch for a while he falls asleep back in crib

up at 4:15...give him a bottle..back into bed

Not sure exactly what time he got up but @ 6:30 DH was changing his diaper and put him in his play pen

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?? He used to wakeup maybe once but THREE times at 6 months? I know his teeth are probably hurting, I give him an ice ring in the middle of night, a little ambesol but he still gets up again...

Do you think we need to CIO? How do I ?Thanks girls

What time does he get his last bottle for the night usually? I think at that age, he should be able to go all night without a bottle.

I bet its teething. Have you tried a little Tylenol before bed?

DS will sometimes cry in the night but we just give him his paci, rub his head and shush him for like a minute and hes out again. I have no clue what causes it.

It might be teething...he usually has dinner at 5:30 and doesn't really want a bottle after that by 7-7:30 he is screaming bc he is tired. I sometimes give him a bottle at 10:30 but it does not work, he is up again anyway. We have tried tylenol...did not work..maybe I will try feeding him earlier like @ 5 and trying to make him take a bottle @ 7:30??

That may work. DS gets his last bottle at 6:30 and hes down at 7pm. He is a terror if he is up later than that.

I think he knows that if he wakes up and cries you will take him out of his crib and lay with him. What baby wouldn't want that? I would try going in an soothing and leaving. Try giving him motrin before bed. Also maybe try putting him to bed a little earlier. At that age my kids were in bed at 6:45

I need to get motrin..I know I shouldn't pick him up, for a while I would give him his binky, rub his belly and he'd fall back asleep..not sure where we went wrong lol

I agree with this, but as a FTWM I never deny my baby a cuddle! So I fell for this daily.
However, when we added a 3rd "meal", suddenly DC slept like crazy at night!! What kind of solids is your baby eating?

Fruit and cereal for breakfast
fruit or veggie with cereal for lunch
chicken puree with veggie I make for dinner and some fruit. I started giving him a little bit of soft mini muffin

also formula in bw meals....
