Character rentals for kids parties...
Has anyone rented characters for their child's party? Can you please share who you rented and for how long? What did they do with the kids?
Also, if you wouldn't mind sharing how much you paid?

we used Adrenaline Entertainment... we had a princess (so i am not sure if that the character that you want) but my friends have used the as well for Elmo, etc.
we had 2 hours, face painting, tattoos, games. (we also had over 60 children)
i will have to see how much we paid, but this is also going back about 3-4 years ago

muno from yo gabba gabba... fantastic days
for 180 we got a guy who did muno and a clown. When he was muno he sang and did games with kids. Then he changed into a clown (tame clown, not scary) he did balloon animals and did face painting...oh and cotton candy for 25.
He was awesome!!
I highly recommend, it was about an hour, perfect for the kids and tolerable amount of time for the adults, lol

We offer a Clown and Character Show: This is a two person show. The clown introduces the character to its themed music. The children meet and greet the character and take pictures. The show includes age appropriate games and activities such as parachute, conga line, limbo, party dances such as chicken dance, and freeze dance, bubbles, face painting, and balloons.

I ended up buying an elmo costume from ebay. It was the same price, or even less, as hiring a character to come over.
If by any chance you are looking for Elmo, you can borrow mine.

I haven't actually used them yet, but I booked Small World Entertainmentfor my DS's party in August.
We're having a Mickey Mouse meet and greet, balloon twisting and a snowcone machine. Two performers will be there and one will change into the costume.
I actually forgot what I'm paying, but it was better than other quotes I got - AND their Mickey is the best I've seen.
