Potty training...when do they start telling you...?
I just started potty training my almost 2.5 year old last Monday. She is doing awesome...had a few accidents on Monday and Tuesday but for the most part is staying dry all day and for naptime as well. However, I am putting her on the potty every hour or two without her telling me she has to go. Today, she must have started to have an accident and stopped herself because she said she needed new princess panties. I rushed her to the bathroom and she went there. It seems like she stopped herself...but how do I get her to tell me before she gets to that point? I keep reminded her to tell me when she has to potty and announcing when I have to use the bathroom so she follows my lead. Granted we are less than a week into training...do they start telling you later?
Thanks for your advice!

Re: Potty training...when do they start telling you...?
I did the 3 day potty training... and I wanna say on day 3 or 4 she actaully told me...
But I never asked her... I would state "Let me know if you have to go potty!" and say that over and over again like a broken record... literally like every 3 mins...
Good Luck! My Daughter was less then 2.5 so I am sure your's will get it in a few days! But just know, she still sometimes doesn't tell me and will just run in there which annoys me b/c of course I need to help wipe, and sometimes if shes wearing something like a tunic and leggins she pees on the tunic b/c she doesn't pull it up all the way... but when I see her running I run haha lol But again, I am sure in a day or so she will start telling you.

Re: Potty training...when do they start telling you...?
I've been potty training my DS for about 3 weeks now and he still doesnt tell me when he has to go. We have him on a 45 minute schedule. Daycare told me that in thier experience, it can take months before they start telling you when they have to go.
