Hello Everyone =) My first post as a Mommy of two! (pics fixed!)
Hello Everyone!
I really thought I'd have had a chance to post sooner! I forgot how hectic and busy and all consuming these first few days with an infant are!
Little Miss Riley Grace was born on Monday, March 19th at 10:00am on the button. I had a repeat c-section since my first DD, Emily, was delivered via c-section 6.5 years ago.
She is absolutely perfect. She weighed in at 7lbs 12 ounces and 20 inches long. She has a cute little tintin haircut...her hair sticks up right at the front, and she has super dark blue eyes.
We are just in love, especially my daughter Emily. We were team green and so we didn't know what we were having. We had all convinced ourselves it was going to be a brother, since my pregnancies were very different. When we all heard the news that it was another girl --- well, it's just pretty amazing. I have 3 sisters and I am very close with them and it makes me so happy to know that my girls will have eachother for life to count on and talk to. 
I am exhausted. We are breastfeeding, and I did not nurse my first. Emily was in the NICU for rapid breathing and we also had incompatable blood types so we never got a hang of the nursing thing. Riley was healthy and in the room with me at the hospital so we got the breastfeeding thing down, but I didn't know how draining it would be. I feel like a cow, lol, all I ever do is feed this child! It's a small price to pay, I am so happy that she has taken to nursing, but man it is exhausting! This morning she pretty much nursed for 4 hours straight! But that was after a long stretch of sleep at night so I guess she was making up for it, and I am thankful to have gotten a few hours back to back last night.
I am sure I'll have lots of breastfeeding questions as we go...but for now...I'll share some of my favorite photos so far!

I was team green too, and also convinced it was a boy...so when she came out a girl we were in shock! LOL!!
Emily is going to be an amazing big sister!!!

Many Many Congratulations! I remember so well what Emily looked like as a baby, and Riley does look like her....but with less hair!
