Stevia?
Is it safe or not??? There is a shake I want to try and it is from whole foods and sweetened with Stevia

I think organic Stevia is safe. Just beware though - it gave me terrible heartburn. I've heard this from several people. It happens to me with vitamin water too which has Stevia.

I have been using stevia for years, including throughout my first pregnancy. I use it daily. But I have never experienced heartburn that the pp did.

Stevia can also cause heart palpitations so if you feel like your heart is racing after consuming it you may want to avoid it. It is not common but it does happen. I can't use Stevia or I feel like I am having a heart attack.
