Thoughts on Luvs diapers vs. Pampers
I've used only Swaddlers Sensitive since DD was born and she's 8 months now and in a size 3. The sensitive only goes up to size 4
The Luvs are cheaper than pampers cruisers and was thinking of trying them.
opinions welcome good and bad!

I LOVE Luvs !!
I was always a Huggies person and one time I had Luvs coupons for BJ's and tried it for the heck of it.....
They are fantastic and so inexpensive (and BJ's always has great coupons)

Luvs are definitely our diaper of choice. Been using them since the twins were about 4 months old and we like them so much better than Pampers.

I think it totally depends on your baby.
I've tried huggies, luvs, bru all because of price but i always end up back at pampers.
They fit my DD better and have the fewest leaks.

I just switched from Huggies recently and I'm very happy. They are so much cheaper! The only thing I didn't like at first is that they are scented. But I've gotten used to the scent now.

Hated Luvs. But finding a diaper is like finding a pair of jeans: different brands fit different people. The only way you find out what works for you is through trial and error.

With my boys I always used Pampers Swaddlers and cruisers. It was the "in" diaper at the time besides huggies. Then I got smart with my DD years later when I had her and have been buying Luvs and their wipes. I LOVE them and have never had a problem with them. I use coupons and get the big boxes at BJ's. Much cheaper than Huggies, etc. and you get more in the box. I looked into Target diapers, but they were a little more expensive for less diapers so I went with Luvs. I'm sorry I didn't use them with my other kids.

i hated luvs, felt they were not nearly as soft or "comfortable" as pampers cruisers...
we only use cruisers during the day and huggies overnights for, well, overnight

We used Pampers at first but promptly switched to Luvs around 3 months. Never had a leak, they are amazing! And mine are not scented We buy the boxes at BJ's. About $25 for 180 diapers, can't beat that! We do use Huggies Overnights for bedtime though.
I spend more $$ for better brands often, but when it comes to something my son POOPS in, I just don't get why people pay more. Pampers are no better IMO, and my DS has very sensitive skin.

i used pampers for a little bit cause someone bought them for me. After that and since i have been using luvs and have no problem with them. I personally dont really see the difference.

Huge fan of Luvs.
Can't beat the price- cheaper than the BJ's brand at BJ's- even without a coupon
And she rarely ever leaks through them.

Another fan of Luv's!!
I buy them at BJs. They have them for $29.99 and ususally have a $5 coupon in their flyer and I can usually find a $1 manufacturer coupon.
So 204 size 3 diapers cost me $23.99.

Im a big fan of the Luvs diapers. I have tried almost all of them. I hated Huggies. Not a fan of walmart brand or target. I do like pampers But i just feel like its throwing away money since Luvs are just as good for half the price.

used pampers in the begining then switched to luvs and loved them but now at 2.5 and potty training I went back to pampers

i like Luvs, they do the job most of the times. they arent good for my DS at night though so i use Huggies for overnight. DS is 7.5 months

DD got an allergic reaction to luvs (made her turn red everywhere the diaper touched her) so we use pampers. If she didn't have a reaction, and didn't leek through, then I wouldn't care which brand! (i'd go for the cheapest)

Depends on your DC. With my middle one Luvs worked great. With my youngest, the only one that doesn't leak is pampers. We use the baby dry ones. They're cheaper than the cruisers.
