if you have a toddler at home (re: big sis gift)
are you giving them a big sister/big bro gift when the baby is born?
im not sure if its my imagination or if i heard of someone doing this.
you get a little gift and give it to them at the hospital when they come to see the baby for the first time?
my DD will be 33 months.
Any ideas?

I am getting a few gifts for dd! One from the baby and one from us! I also plan on buying some small stuff to give her if the baby receives a gift from someone but dd doesnt. My ped actually suggested to do something like this. My dd will be 21 months!

We plan on having a small gift at the hospital for DD (she'll be 23-24 months); then we bought a play change station/crib for her for when we come home.

We'll be getting some gifts for DS. He's into presents right now and gets upset when there isn't one for him.
I don't think he's going to come to the hospital though - I don't think he'd handle it well and hopefully, I will have another v-birth so I won't be gone that long.

I want to get DD something from her baby bro/sis and then I plan to have a bunch of little things to give her if someone comes with a gift for baby but not her. I don't want her to ever feel left out.

I plan on getting DS a gift from his baby sister to give him either at the hospital or on the day she comes home.
What exactly? Not sure! Right now he's into balls of all kinds, so maybe a new ball. He also likes cars, so maybe a new set of cars or something.

I am getting a gift from the baby to DD (princess tiana figurines b/c DD is obsessed).
I am also going to ask DD to give one of her toys to the baby.

Yes. I plan to pick up a little gift for DD from the baby to give her at the hospital.
