just got back, saw/heard the heartbeat!
The dr said everything looks good and I can relax -this was the first time I saw the baby, we only saw a sac last time.
We discussed the D&C results and also fragile x results, he said it's nothing to worry about (he is also a geneticist)
He asked me when my next appt is, told him in 2 weeks , seeing how anxious I am he said I can go back next week for a quick sono , he said I don't have to, but I can if I want to for my own sanity ( my mc was around 8 weeks and today I'm 7 weeks). He said to tell the girls at the front desk to give me an appt next week. But of course when I went to tell them they made it sound like I was crazy for wanting to go in next week, even after I told them the dr said it was ok, they couldn't (or wouldn't) give me an appt.
Oh well, maybe I'll call later and speak to one of the nurses, otherwise I'll just wait 2 weeks.
I'm just so excited to finally see that there is a baby there and hear the heartbeat.
I have been so anxious this past few weeks and after this morning I feel so relieved

btw i dont like that the front desk girls wouldnt give you an appt. I would call back and get that appt.

I know! even after I told them THE DR suggested I go in, they made me sound crazy, the woman looked at me like I had 10 heads and said "but you have an appt in 2 weeks, you can't come in every week, it doesn't work that way" Just told DH and he is pretty angry, he said he is going to call them and make sure I get an appt next week ,lol.
But yeah, I think I'm going to call them later when the office isn't so busy and hopefully I can get something. It would make me feel better. Obviously the dr thinks it's a good idea to go in next week, otherwise he didn't have to say anything....

Good Im glad. If the dr gave his okay there is no reason why they should have said anything different. So glad you had a great appt today though now you can start relaxing

Thats great news!
As far as the front desk goes, I would kindly let them know that your Dr knows whats best for you so if he asks for you to come back in 1 week even though you have an appt in 2 weeks, you want an appt. They do not make that decision for you, the DR does and if they are questioning his decision, then they should take it up with him, but they do not have the right to refuse to make an appt for you...
Your not asking them how it works, your letting them know your drs decision based on your specific case... And I would make that very clear!
And if they still give you an issue I would ask to speak with an office manager...
