Pottery Barn Cribs?
I noticed a review in a book of products that these cribs lost some points, I think for being over priced.
But when comparing prices to other recommended cribs (Land of Nod, Romina...) PB is less expensive. In some cases much less.
I haven't seen a PB crib in person, but I want to say some of the PB cribs are actually reasonably priced.
Does anyone know how the quality is?

i have PBK furniture and i love it...i'm partial to most things from PB in general b/c i love their stuff but i still checked out cribs in BRU & Target and then headed over to PBK right after to compare and IMO the furniture from PBK is worth the money...a lot of the pieces in BRU/Target were smaller and were lightweight and all of the furniture from PBK felt a lot more solid and heavy....imo it looks more expensive - i'm not saying that the furniture at BRU/Target looks cheap or anything like that (i have tons of Target stuff in my house) but even compared to my bedroom set (which is from Rooms To Go) i think my daughter's furniture is nicer and i think the quality is better...we joke that she has the best furniture in the house  i usually go for the inexpensive knock offs but when i compared the cribs i really liked the PBK stuff better, i felt the same way with the bedding, i liked PBK better than anything i saw at BRU or Target but i got a set that was being discontinued and on clearance to save $...i'm usually all about going the cheaper route but i felt comfortable spending the money at PBK
as far as wear and tear i don't know yet b/c she is arriving in the next few weeks....the most expensive piece we bought was the dresser/changing table combo which was about 1k and i do think that piece was overpriced but the crib i got was reasonable at 399...
i would see if you can check the stuff out in the store, im in FL so there is a PBK kids i dont know about LI

We have the Kendall crib ($399) and it's awesome! My son is 2 and still in the crib. It has the usual wear and tear, like any crib would but it's super sturdy and really nice. The quality is great!
Like PP said, we got the dresser too (with removable changing table addition) and it was expensive, but IMO worth it because you can take the topper off and it's just a regular, nice dresser - perfect for any toddler/young child room.

Ive been doing research on cribs too and what ive read not only in baby bargains but when you google pbk cribs/furniture reviews youll find a lot of people state the wood chips on the cribs and dressers... They do state that they replace the pieces but the same thing happens...
For me thata a deal breaker...

I will never buy a substantial piece of furniture from them because I've been to the outlets and ALL of the furniture there is damaged. It seems to be very poor quality, IMO.

Yes I saw the 399 special! I thought that was reasonable and that particular crib got good reviews. I also have a 15% off coupon, so it's tempting.
Dd's have a romina crib and I have never seen better quality, but after getting a crib that's so expenpesive and realizing we are probably not going to use it as a full bed, I don't want such an expensive one... I will get a good dresser that goes with it, that can be used for a long time.
