Diet Soda Cake - Can you make it w/brownie or cookie mix?
It has been a bad day, and U want to make a treat with minimal effort and minimal WW points. But I don't have cake mix.

Well as I was cleaning up a container of flour that spilled everywhere  I realized that what i thought was devils food brownie mix was actually cake mix. So I made the cupcakes. They turned out well - I added chocolate chips too, the bites with them are so much better

The original recipe is one box cake mix, any flavor and one can diet soda, any flavor. Mix and pour into pan or make cupcakes. Bake as per the box's instructions.
I used Gina's recipe: http://www.skinnytaste.com/diet-soda-cake She adds egg whites)
It was my first time making them and they were all right - a little bland. I used devils food and coke zero. I added chocolate chips and those are good  I would probably add a little mint extract or something to give it a lil zing!

I did the skinnytaste.com recipe for diet cream soda and devils food cake.
I made them into cupcakes. they were delish. add light whip cream on top for icing.
