Help finding a pediatrician in the Holbrook area
Hi everyone, we just moved to Holbrook and I have a 14 month old. Can anyone recommend a pediatrician please? Preferably with weekday evening hours. Thank you so much

I use Dr. Rakowska at Pediatric Immediate Care in Smithtown. They are great! Open until 10 or 11pm every night! We travel 30 minutes from Lindenhurst to go to the Smithtown office.

We use Eisenberg Pediatrics in Sayville and I really like them.
I use him too b/c of the recomendations here. DS doesn't go that often (knock wood). Haven't formed an opinion of him yet.

We use Eisenberg Pediatrics in Sayville and I really like them.
We use him too. DD LOVES Dr. Eisenberg! She high-fived him last time we were there and told him "Good Job" when we left.

How is the wait time at that office. I like my ped but I hate waiting so long with a 4 month old.

We use Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine in Holbrook. It's a large practice so there are several doctors, nurses, PAs, NPs, etc. We've seen quite a few of them by now and we've really liked them all. Wait times are never bad... I think the longest we've waited was 15 minutes.

SV Pediatrics on Woodside Avenue in Patchogue is great. 631-758-6535. They are a group practice.
Dr. Narian is great.
I don't know info about their hours though.

Welcome to the neighborhood. We use Peds First in Medford. About 15 minutes from Holbrook.

Looks like they got better with their wait times. I love the people there but having waited twice over an hour to see my son, once 2 1/2 hours I ended up leaving.

ditto AMAZING hours!! never waited longer than like 15-20 minutes.
also, wait time prob depends if you are an emergency, evenings, etc. I always go on the weekends early in the AM (like 9-10AM). No big wait.

This is where I switched to from Pediatric and Adolescent Med of Holbrook. We left because of the crazy (1-2 hour) wait times. I've love SV pediatrics and rarely wait more than 5 minutes, even for emergency visits.

Never bad. Most I have waited in the waiting room was I'd say 10-15 min. Sick or well visit.

I go here too...but we prefer Dr Patel! She seems a little sweeter and gentler with my 7 month old DD. I wish we could always get her. I like Dr Eisenberg too, don't get me wrong. He is great! .(but I've already disagreed with some of the advice he's given me on BFing and making my own baby food.)
Dr Patel is more knowledgeable on Breast feeding for sure!

For well visits you can definitely request which Dr- as long as you can come in on the day they are there.
Sick visits are a toss up!
