For those who got a prenatal massage

If you got a prenatal massage did you find it helped with your back pain or just felt nice while you were having it done/for the day? I was going to schedule an appointment but I'm wondering if it will actually help with the back pain overall or if it's just more of a treat for the day, if that makes sense. I'm having really bad back pain all night long and don't mind spending some $ to help with the issue, but only if it's something that will truly help. Thanks!!

Just a treat for the day...

Have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your knees? That's the only thing that helps my back pain.

It helped that day and maybe the next but not much more. I went to Babylon Wellness center. While it was very nice and Dee was very good, I just don't think it did the trick. DH actually rubs my back for a few minutes each night and its way better. I would say give it a try once - everyone is different. I am going to try another one at another place next month just to compare.

Re: For those who got a prenatal massage

Thanks guys! I had a feeling that might be the case. Any other tips/tricks? I do sleep with a pillow between my legs, I noticed if I don't, its almost unbearbale.

I'm up almost every hour during the middle of the night in so much pain. I'm 30 weeks and the Dr said it will probably only get worse. Any advise you have would be very welcomed Chat Icon
