Punta Cana
My cousin is getting married in Punta Cana around 4 months after our baby will be born. We would love to go.....but obvisouly I'm very apprehensive about taking a small baby down to DR. Has anyone been there before that can tell me more about it? I think I'm honestly most concerned about the trip between the airport & the resort. Any info/experiences you can share would be great! Thanks!! : )

Re: Punta Cana
I've been there many times and I wouldn't take a 4mo with me.

Re: Punta Cana
i would
we just got back from PC but DD was 26 months there were many many infants. we went on our first trip when DD was 6 months old and we went to Montego Bay, Jamaica she was on formula so we just made sure to buy evian and fiji water to give her formula with and wash her face and we also bought with us an electric kettle to sterilize bottles. we were fine . and we are planning to take a famly trip when DD#2 is about 6 months as well.

This. Some parts of PC are nice - others, not so much.

Re: Punta Cana
We'd be staying at the Majestic Elegance. Anyone know anything about it? From what I can tell its pretty close to the airport. Thanks for your opinions! I dont think we're going to make any decisions until after she is born and we see how we feel about it as it gets closer.

Re: Punta Cana
I remember a relative of mine wanted to take his daughter to DR. She wasn't an infant but has a health condition. Their doctor advised against it bc of the health care available. I've never been there, but it's just something to think about.
