Need help- traveling to carribean w/baby

I'm traveling to beaches at Turks next week with our DD. She will be 11 months. What do I do about washing the bottles, is it ok to just wash them in plain hot tap water there? IS the water the same? I assume I don't need to bring a sterilizer, but I'm not sure. If you traveled with a baby what do you do about bath time, do you just hold DC in the bath while you bathe him/her? DD is very hyper and she moves like crazy I'm a little nervous about that. Other than clothes, diapers, swimmers, bibs, blankets, tote bags, wipes, lotions, medicines, some toys and crib sheets, anything else you can think of that I should bring? Thank you! She is so tiny yet she requires a huge full suitcase between all the diapers, wee wee pads, wipes etc!!!

Thank you !

I read a great article that suggests packing all the stuff you will use and not bring back in a big box this way you don't have an extra luggage. You can dispose of the box once you get there.

We took our 8 mth old to Barbados ths past summer. Everyone said that the water was fine but I would wash her bottles in hot tap and then use a tea kettle to boil water an soak her bottles & nipples in there. I brought along a cheap Tupperware and thn trew it out on our way back. I also used bottled water the time with her - with our 3 yo we used tap.

For bathing, I had a small inflatable tub from when DS was small. We used it since she was still learning to stand.

I think you hav everything....I would tak a thermometer also.

She adjusted fin and we had a fabulous vacation. Good luck an have fun!

I justbwent there last month. It was amazing. I brought a bottle brush and a travel bottle soap and just washed them in the sink. The tubs the are huge. Jacuzzi style. It was too deep for my son. The first night. He stood up in the sink and we washed him that way. The rest of the time I threw him in the shower with dh. Bring the stinky placements for the restaurants. Bring bath toys for the kiddie pool....
