May moms- movement

Are you feeling alot of movement? I feel some pops and thumps at night when I am watching TV, but nothing more than that and I can't really say it is every day. I am 21 weeks and with DD I felt flutters at this point. Of course, I am starting to obsess on this. I have some extra padding now than I did with DD, could that be a difference? I have an appt on Monday, so I will hear the HB and get piece of mind. I just want to feel a good whack!

Re: May moms- movement

I've been feeling pops and rolls for a couple of weeks now (I'm almost 21 weeks), but no kicks yet. At least I don't think so. And it happens a few times a day for a couple of seconds. It's not consistently throughout the day.

Re: May moms- movement

Only when Im laying down at night do I feel a bubble like feeling below my belly button... It feel like they are rising to the surface and popping every so often... I assume its the baby but i have an anterior placenta so I question if its really movement... Im in my 21st week

Re: May moms- movement

I feel like I have a really active baby. I feel her multiple times throughout the day (right now in fact). I have been feeling significant movement from her since I was around 17 or 18 wks, I am now in wk 22. DH and I have both been able to see her kick and also feel her kick from the outside- it's so cool!

I've only recently started feeling movement but no hard kicks yet and definitely can't feel it from the outside. I'm 21.5 weeks

Re: May moms- movement

I'll be 23 weeks on Saturday and I've been feeling him move, but not really kicks I don't think, but the popping and rolling. I've felt him about everyday since about 18-19 weeks. Not all day but at least once or twice a day I'll feel him. I also have extra padding but i'm hoping my husband will be able to feel him soon!

I have been feeling a lot of movement for weeks now, which is much earlier than I felt my first, maybe b/c this is my second DC.

Re: May moms- movement

Just talked to my doctor about this the other day. I actually feel the baby a lot more at this point then I did with my first. That being said the day I had a doctors appointment, I did not feel him once. I was pretty nervous. When the doctor went to listen to the heartbeat you would hear it for two seconds and then it was gone. The baby was moving around like crazy and I wasn't able to feel it at all. You could hear the movements on the monitor. Doctor said you should not stress at this point if you don't feel the baby all day. It is later around 28 weeks that you should be concerned. Chat Icon

I'm 22 weeks and have anterior placenta.

I've been feeling VERY slight light movement since around 18 weeks but very sporadically.

Since 21 weeks I've been feeling distinct kicks on my lower right side when I lay down and some kicks/taps just below my belly button (I notice this when I drink something cold). It's still not very often at all, usually just late in the evening when I'm laying down on the sofa or in bed.

I've been feeling a decent amount of movement for a few weeks now, I'm 22 weeks. Its not very consistant but at least a few times a day, more at night laying down.

Re: May moms- movement

I'm 20 weeks and for the last week I've been feeling pops throughout the day.
I wouldn't worry too much. My Dr. said I may not feel anything until at least22 weeks.

I am 19 weeks and have been feeling movement for a few weeks now. This baby seems more active than DD though but it could be that I just feel it more now.

I either feel the baby when I am super relaxed or stressed... Or after I eat spinach! Chat Icon

I'm 21.5 weeks and have just started to feel taps/rolls a few times a day. It's mostly after I eat banana pudding!

Re: May moms- movement

I feel a bunch of, what feels like, rolling and popping... I'm 18 wks with Chat Icon Chat Icon ... I only feel one of them at my lower left, but nothing of the other... Chat Icon But, I'm still early and have anterior and posterior placentae... So they're surrounded by a ton of extra padding.

I really didn't feel a good whack with DS until about 24-25 wks...

Re: May moms- movement

I'm only feeling sporadic pops as well during the day/night. No definitive kicks, feels more like well placed gas bubbles hehe. I do have an anterior placenta so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Re: May moms- movement

Been feeling more activity during the past week. I am 19 weeks tomorrow. The feeling is strange, almost like a filling up of a bubble and then it subsides...actually felll the filling up. I suspect they are rolls and squirms. I love it.
