First OB appointment?
I am currenlty under the care of an RE, and God willing if everything goes well, I will be released around 8 weeks (mid Dec).
I want to switch OB's, my current one just merged with other OB, and her practice is always full and waiting time is minimum and hour. Pus, I am movving in Feb, and would like to see someone a little closer.
Should I start looking into one now? When should I schedule my first appt?

I would find one and call to schedule the appt now. When I called my Dr they don't want to see you until 8 weeks. If you call now you might not have a gap from goign to the RE to the OB. It might even overlap which is fine.
You should have the OB lined up before being released fromthe RE.
