We have progress!!!
I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. I went to the doctor tonight and I am 1cm dilated! The doctor said he thinks I will go sometime this weekend!! I have such a mix of emotions going on right now- I'm so excited that this is about to happen. At the same time, I keep getting so sad for my son that his world is about to change so dramatically and he has no idea what's coming! I know he will love his baby brother or sister and he is going to be a phenomenal big brother. But I can't help but feel sad for him that his time of being Mommy and Daddy's only little one is so close to being over. Ahh what a crazy emotional rollercoaster!

Yeah! So exciting. DS will be ok. I was so anxiety ridden about the same thing and my DS has been great w his little sister. Good luck and I hope you have a nice and quick delivery!!!!

Very exciting!!
I also wonder how it will be for my DD. She is 6 so she has been the center of our universe for so long!
But think of it this way. You've already given your son a great life, and wonderful, loving parents.
Now you are giving him another great gift---a sibling to grow up with and be friends with for life.
It's a pretty amazing thing!
