Is this a good price for a used City Select?
I found a 2010 City Select in Queens for $390, it sells new for $499. Is this good?

I think it would depend on the condition of the stroller. Also, I believe there's a newer model out so there might be room for some negotiation.

I agree that it depends on what condition it is in and also what it comes with. Is it just the stroller? Does it have the extra seat? Does it have the infant car seat adapter (if you want that)?

Or... I found one on the Upper West Side (there seem to be none for sale on the Island) for $550 with everything included
Car seat adapter Bassinet Second Seat Rain Canopies for one Seat and Bassinet
This one is a 2011, purchased in June, and is well over a $250 savings from a new one, although I don't really need the bassinet

Just the stroller, no car seat adapter, no second seat, no parent console, nothing. IDK, even in good condition that seems like a lot for just about a 2 yr old stroller and I'd need to hike to Queens from Western Suffolk. But then again, the $750 for the new one plus all the extras I'd need is a lot too. Ugh

I think its a lot. I actually am considering selling mine. Its a 2010 and I have the second seat, parent console, plus carseat adapter. Its in good condition, but one of the seats is slightly faded (the actual seat is fine - just the color is a little faded).
DH and I are were just discussing if we were going to sell it. Let me get back to you if you are interested!

That would be great! Thanks, just let me know whenever you decide! Is it a good stroller? I've heard awesome awesome reviews on it and have gone to check out every double they make this one just seems like "the one" lol. It seems like it would fit all of our needs.

Re: Is this a good price for a used City Select?
There are some things I really like about the stroller and other things that I do not.
These are what I think the pros are:
1. You can arrange the seats in different ways. 2. It can be a single stroller. 3. It is narrow so its could for using in stores. 4. It is a pretty smooth ride.
These are what I think the cons are: 1. It is heavy and annoying to get in and out of the car. 2. It is kind of cumbersome and difficult to push if you are using the infant attachment. 3. It is a little heavy to push even without the infant attachment - but I think this is an issue with most double strollers! 4. Some of the seating positions are kind of awkward - like there isn't too much room when they are facing each other.
