If you delivered at Stony Brook and love your ob
So I loved my ob but she is no longer in the office that I used for dd (not sure where she went). I like the other ob in the office and I loved St. Charles but I paid for my own private room. I am thinking of maybe switching to another practice who delivers at SB. If you loved your ob please tell me how you used and where they are located. I use to be a patient at the 3 village and I wasn't happy with them so if you can recommend someone else

I loved Dr. Johnson at Stony Brook associates in ob/gyn (tech park), but she does sometimes have a long wait. I'm PG now and using someone else in the same practice, Dr. Rimpel, who is nice but younger. Never a wait w/ her.

I also went to Dr. Johnson and do have to agree that there was almost always a wait. Even if i scheduled my appointments well in advance and got the first appointment i was always waiting and sometimes got rescheduled to another dr.
I did also see Dr. Rimpel who was nice also and would sit down and talk with me and explain everything that i needed to know.

There is another group called Stony Brook Ob/GYN. There is 4 doctors in the group that deliver...They are great. I have nothing but praise for them after 2 deliveries with them. Here is their website for all the information: http://www.stonybrookgynob.com/

I got to them and specifically see Dr. Porte. he delivered both my boys. All the doctors and NP's in that practice are awesome...even the office staff is great. I have only praise for them.

Three Village Women's Health was great--I went to the office in Patchogue, but there is also an office in Setauket.
They deliver at Stony Brook, and I was hoping for one of them but Dr. Porte was actually on call when I delivered (he's from the Stony Brook OBGYN practice --they are in Setauket and may have a few other locations. He was GREAT!!!!

I also go to this practice, I love Dr Porte, Lochner and O'keefe and the nurses are awesome too

love them here..dr welischar delivered my dd and dr porte delivered my ds..they are all great here! love them!

I go to Stony Brook OB. I love Dr. Lochner, she delivered my son and is the one I see most. But they are all great there. And Stony Brook was great too. Post Partum was brand new and now Labor and delivery and the NICU is too. They have a great nursing staff. I would def recommend all!!

I just started using the doctors at this practice and I'm in  with my doctor. I'm so happy I made the switch. I can't praise them enough, I know when I give birth, my LO will be in good hands

I thought you went to Dr. Strafford (not stalking, but I am going to switch to her based on your recommendation!  Strafford is w/ Associates in Ob/Gyn, which is a diff. practice from Stony Brook Ob/Gyn mentioned above.

love them here..dr welischar delivered my dd and dr porte delivered my ds..they are all great here! love them!
I go to Three Village & adore them, but when I delivered DS SB OB/GYN was on call & Dr. Welischar delivered him. I HATED her bedside manner, but she was a rockstar with her c-section incision.

I used Three Village & I loved Dr. Berman! He has since moved to another practice in Patchogue. I really think I'm going to follow him. He really went above and beyond IMO.

I used the Stony Brook midwives. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them.
Just switched to them for this pregnancy and LOVE them. I live 50 mins from the hospital but they are THAT good that the travel is worth it to me.
